Physician Services

Once a Medicare patient elects hospice, care related to the terminal diagnosis is paid directly by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to the hospice provider. Physician services are billed by the hospice according to the nature of the service performed.

Respite Care

Caring for someone who’s sick or dying can take a toll on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. That’s why Better Days Hospice offers respite care to allow hard-working caregivers time off to see to their own needs.

Physical Therapy

Determine a patient's deficits and limitations in activities of daily living and locomotion. Enhance and restore patient's level of independence to reduce the burden of care from health care providers and caregivers.

Speech Therapy

The goal of intervention is not rehabilitative but facilitative. They works with the patient and caregivers to develop compensatory strategies and use the abilities the patient still possess to interact with family and friends

Nursing Services

A professional in charge of providing care, comfort, and support to clients navigating the difficult time at the end of their lives - developing plans for individual patients to ensure their needs are met, perform regular checkups, and communicate with family members as needed.

Admission Criteria

The Patient must be eligible for hospice services and agree that they wish to receive palliative rather than curative care.
